Privacy policy
In short
We run a reference site, not a shop and not a tracker. Right now there are no analytics and no advertising cookies, and the search runs entirely in your browser. If we turn on ads later, you will see a consent banner first — and this page explains what changes then.
Who we are
Cryptaurus (cryptaurus.ai) is an educational crypto reference. This policy explains what data the site handles and your choices. The site operator is Individual Entrepreneur Nikolai Barsukov (ინდივიდუალური მეწარმე ნიკოლაი ბარსუკოვ), registration No. 105566030, registered at Tsinamdzghvrishvili St. 18, Apt. 20, Didube-Chughureti, Tbilisi, Georgia. What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data — your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the date and time — to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to build a profile of you and are kept only for a short period.
- No analytics. We do not currently use Google Analytics or any other visitor-tracking tool.
- Search stays in your browser. Site search (Pagefind) runs on your device; what you type is not sent to us or to anyone else.
- Fonts and images are served from our own domain, so opening a page does not hand your data to third parties.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies. If we add a consent banner, your choice may be saved on your device so we do not ask again. Details are on the cookie policy page.
Advertising (planned)
We plan to fund the site with ads through Google AdSense. This is not active yet. When it is:
- Google and its partners may set cookies and process data (such as device and usage signals) to serve and measure ads and — only if you agree — to personalise them.
- You will be asked for consent first, and you can decline non-essential cookies.
- How Google handles this data is described in Google's own privacy and advertising policies.
Who we share data with
- Hosting provider — serves the site and keeps security logs.
- Google AdSense — only once ads are enabled, as described above.
We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, or a region with similar rules, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data and object to certain processing, and you can complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, write to [email protected].
Children
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date below shows the last change; we will flag material changes on the site.
