Crypto exchanges by number of assets

How many assets exchanges support — a fact slice, not a “top” list: why more coins doesn't mean “better” and why CEX and DEX are counted separately.
✓ Verified 17 Sep 2026

A slice of exchanges by one fact — how many assets a service supports. The order comes from the number itself: it shows in every row, with a snapshot date and a source. We take the number from the exchange’s official API; where there’s no API, we show the exchange’s own figure and mark it as its claim. More assets isn’t always better — a beginner rarely needs thousands of coins. It’s just one axis of choice: convenience, fees and safety are covered separately, and you can return to choosing an exchange in the exchange ratings hub.

How this list is built
  • One verifiable signal: assets
  • Order — by the number, not by our opinion or by arrangements
  • Each row leads to a review where the parameter is backed by a source
Without sources such a list is no better than a paid "top" — so they are required.
i Size ≠ right for you

A number only tells you about the number. In your country the largest service may not work at all — check against your own country.
